Job Description - Accounting Manager/Operations Controller (aka
Plant Controller) Is Cost Accounting your thing? Is Excel your best

Manager/Operations Controller position is responsible for ensuring
efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the organization. You
will collaborate with other teams to maintain financial and
operational reports and manage budgets to reduce company
expenditures. This role requires extensive knowledge of financial
and operational strategies, excellent communication and leadership
skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.

in their job. Overview of responsibilities As an Accounting
Manager/Operations Controller, you will be responsible for:
Supervising the preparation of financial reports by the accounting
team. Responsible for the cost accounting function and cost control
& pricing. Developing and implementing financial systems, policies,
and procedures. Providing financial analysis and evaluation to
support decision-making. Ensuring smooth functioning of day-to-day
operations. The key functions of an Accounting Manager/Operations
Controller include: Controlling, monitoring, and analyzing
operational and financial processes. Developing and implementing
operational and financial strategies. Identifying and analyzing
areas of risk. Establishing and maintaining financial control
systems. Key performance indicators of an Accounting
Manager/Operations Controller include: ------------ Reduction of
expenses through cost controls. Timeliness of financial and
operational reports. Support audits. Development of financial
policies and procedures. Your day-to-day responsibilities as an
Accounting Manager/Operations Controller include: Identifying areas
of inefficiency and proposing new strategies to tackle
them.------------ Reviewing financial reports and presenting them
to senior management. Providing financial analysis and supporting
executives in making informed decisions. Developing and maintaining
financial control systems. Communicating and collaborating with
other departments to ensure smooth functioning of operations.
Financial Systems and Processes: Streamline and optimize financial
systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Implement
best practices in financial management and reporting. Educational &
Experience Requirements A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting,
business administration, or a related field is the minimum
educational requirement for an Accounting Manager/Operations
Controller. In addition to having a degree, certification in
accounting, project management, or other relevant certifications is
also desirable. At least five years of experience working in
finance, accounting, or a related field is required for this
position. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing
operations and finances in a large company. Experience with data
analytics, financial reporting, and managing audit processes is
also desirable. Experience with IT systems, managerial reporting
tools, Excel modelling, and data management. Proven financial
management and reporting experience, with a focus on streamlining
accounting processes. Public accounting experience a plus. Strong
understanding of GAAP rules and applications. Financial systems
knowledge (e.g. in NetSuite) with experience in customizations and
modules implementations is highly desirable. Strong technical
accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP principles. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively across departments and locations. Possess a
track record of process leadership and process improvement. (In
